Helping Heroes Heal is excited to partner with Danielle and La Sana Yoga Studio to bring a monthly Gentle Yoga Class for First Responders and Military members to Stoney Creek, Ontario! 🇨🇦

Meet Danielle, a longtime First Responder who discovered yoga as a lifeline. With 16 years of personal practice and teacher training in Portugal, Danielle understands the importance of taking care of ourselves, both physically and mentally.

💚 Our mission is to support those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving others.

Through gentle yoga, we hope to create a welcoming space where our heroes can:
✨ Reduce stress and find calm
✨ Improve balance and flexibility
✨ Reconnect with their bodies and minds
✨ Take time for themselves in a supportive community

What an incredible day on two wheels for an amazing cause! 🏍️🇨🇦A massive shoutout and heartfelt thank you to the Green Knights Motorcycle Club ( GREENKNIGHTS MMC HamiltonCH 71 ) for hosting another unforgettable annual Poker Run at Clare’s Harley-Davidson in Niagara-on-the-Lake.Thanks to everyone’s generosity, the event raised over $800 in support of Helping Heroes Heal! 🇨🇦 FIGHTING FOR SOMETHING BIGGER 🇨🇦

UFC fighter Cody Chovancek is throwing his support behind Helping Heroes Heal, an organization using sport, activity and community to bring Canadian veterans together and help foster connection.

The mission behind Helping Heroes Heal is a simple but important one: creating opportunities for Canadian military veterans, first responders and their families to reconnect, rebuild and thrive through shared experiences.

Sport has a unique ability to bring people together.

Whether it's stepping into a gym, picking up a hockey stick, getting onto a golf course or simply being part of a group again, Helping Heroes Heal creates opportunities for veterans and their families to get active, meet people and build connections.

The organization has also helped provide sporting equipment including bicycles, hockey equipment, tennis racquets, weight sets and golf clubs, removing some of the barriers that can prevent people from getting involved.

For Cody Chovancek, supporting a cause built around sport, community and looking after those who have served is a natural fit.

Canadian MMA has always been about more than what happens inside the cage.

This is a great example of using the platform that comes with reaching the UFC to help shine a light on people doing meaningful work in the community.
