Things may look a little different right now! As part of our ongoing efforts to create a welcoming and safe space for our community, the Community Centre is currently undergoing a major flooring renovation.

This behind-the-scenes look shows the progress being made as we prepare for brand new flooring throughout the space. These improvements are only possible because of the incredible generosity of our donors. Your donations help us not only provide essential programs and services but also maintain and improve the spaces where our community gathers, connects and finds hope.

During these renovations, we are working with reduced storage space. If possible, we kindly ask donors to hold off on dropping off food and clothing donations until next week. This short pause will help our team safely navigate the construction process and ensure we can properly receive and organize your generous contributions.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support as we invest in the future of our Community Centre. We can't wait to welcome back our community to a refreshed space soon!

We have a big announcement! The Ray of Hope Community Centre is being completely refurbished with brand new flooring.

Unfortunately this means that our dining room will be closed from June 1st to June 12th while we complete this repairs. At our regular meal times we will be handing takeout bags this week for lunch and dinner.

Our Marketplace will also be closed for inside shopping from June 1st to June 15th. For our Marketplace food hampers, we will be handing out pre-bagged food hampers for those in our food boundary at our regular Marketplace hours.

Washroom access will still be available at our location. The Medical Clinic and the RAAM clinic will also still be available at their regular scheduled hours.

Thank you so much for your understanding and we can't wait to show you our updated Community Centre!

The Ray of Hope Community Centre’s clothing room is in need of a little extra love for our Community Centre guests. We’re on the lookout for Men's and Women's underwear (Sizes M-L), Socks and Sports Bras (Sizes S-M). All items must be new!

We are also on the lookout for Casual Summer Clothing. Whether it be t-shirts, shorts or any other type of casual summer clothing, we would love to accept it! We are looking for sizes XS-M.

You can also donate items like sweatpants, pajama pants, sweaters, etc.

Items can be brought to the Ray of Hope Community Centre

Happy Victoria Day!

The Marketplace Food Hamper Program and the Ray of
Hope offices will be closed today.

The Community Centre is open 365 days of the year
and we are still open today from 11 am - 8 pm. We will
be serving meals at regular times.

The Ray of Hope Marketplace will be closed on Monday May 18th due to Victoria Day and will re-open on Tuesday May 19th.

The Ray of Hope Community Centre remains open 365 days a year!

With just one month to go, we wanted to remind you that there's still time to join us for the Ray of Hope 2026 Golf Classic on Monday, June 8th at Rebel Creek Golf Club.

It’s shaping up to be a fantastic afternoon of golf, connection, and meaningful support for the Ray of Hope Community Centre—all happening from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Registration is $175 per person and includes:
✔️ Lunch and dinner
✔️ 18 holes of golf
✔️ Cart rental

Looking to start your career journey or know someone under 30 who is?

Ray of Hope’s Youth Employment Support Program is now accepting applications for its upcoming cohort May 25!

Over four weeks, participants build essential job readiness skills to help them secure and keep meaningful employment. After completing the program, participants transition into a paid placement within the community, with ongoing support to help them succeed on the job.
