It can also be complicated, especially if this is your first time doing so.

Join us on Thursday, August 22nd for our next virtual Power Hour: Setting Up a Creative Space or Studio with our very own Executive Director, Michael Vickers.

From sourcing space and negotiating commercial leases to what to keep an eye on with insurance and agreements, Michael will share lots of advice and practical tips and tricks for finding and setting up studios in Brampton.

Learn from local artist Sharl G. Smith about how she made Embrace II, an eye-popping hand-stiched glass bead sculpture, which can be found outside the Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery in Uptown Waterloo. Tickets for Sharl's talk are free, but capacity is limited, so scooping a ticket in advance is recommended.
