What a great night of training we had last night! Big thanks to Captain Robert Squires for organizing a great evening of extraction training and to Johnston's Towing for enabling this to take place.
Training like this helps to ensure we're ready when the tones drop, and serve our community to the best of our abilities!

We officially have 3 newly certified firefighters!
Congratulations Mason Baldwin Camryn Wadman Brock MacArthur on your accomplishments!
This is a big undertaking, with 18 evenings spent in the classroom, 5 very full days of field training, a 2 day Hazmat course, a 4 day medical first responder course and a final test to top it all off!
All this work is done in their free time, while still managing home life, work life, and participating in hall activities and calls.
Very proud of you all!

The spring temperatures are finally here, and with that comes lots of outdoor cleanup. Please be sure to check our local burning restrictions before you burn!

Always check your municipal bylaws, or contact your municipal office, before doing any type of burning (this includes both campfires and domestic brush burning). Your municipality may have a burning restriction that overrides the provincial burning map restrictions. This page is not updated from Nov...

Thanks for the invite Malcolm Ross and Project Search PEI! It was a great presentation, and we enjoyed the conversations with everyone!

We had a great visit today in Project SEARCH PEI with a visit form the Kinkora Fire Department. Malcolm did a presentation on Fire safety and brought in his team of firefighters from the Kinkora station to talk to us about safety. Malcolm did an excellent presentation and we are so happy that the Kinkora Team was here to offer their guidance and expertise. Thanks to Fire Chief Johnny, to fire fighter Leeman (Malcolm's brother) and all of the team who came to share with us today, the importance of fire safety.
