We are very pleased to announce that we received $15,000 from the US liquor sales the province of Nova Scotia had promised to help charities in Nova Scotia.

Upper Room Food Bank Association recognizes the support of the Province of Nova Scotia. We are pleased to work in partnership with the Department of Communities, Culture, Heritage and Tourism to help provide food resources for the Kingston and Greenwood area.

We would like to announce our 2026 Annual General Meeting for the food bank on September 14th, at the Kingston United Church at 6:30 PM. The public is invited to attend.

We are so pleased to announce that Jason Phinney and his Food Bank Scramble raised over $4000 and 169 lbs of food for Upper Room Food bank. Thank you to all the golfers!

It is with sad hearts we announce the sudden passing of our Board member and friend Leslie Gordon Morse. Gord was an active volunteer at the Upper Room Food Bank since October 2018. He was also a director and served as secretary for the board. He was the liaison for the Kingston Baptist Church. Gord always brought his wonderful sense of humour to everything he did. He was willing to do whatever was requested of him. We miss Gord dearly
