🌈✊ Today is Kingston Pride Parade Day! ✊🌈

The Kingston District Labour Council is proud to stand in solidarity with 2SLGBTQIA+ workers, families, and community members.

Pride began as a protest and remains a powerful demonstration of solidarity, inclusion, and human rights. Let’s come together to celebrate our diverse community and show the support that this day deserves.

Together, we are stronger.

The Kingston & District Labour Council is proud to once again participate in the Kingston Pride Parade, and we invite all union members, families, friends, and allies to join us as we march in solidarity on June 13.

The labour movement has a long history of standing up for equality, dignity, inclusion, and human rights. Pride is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of 2SLGBTQIA+ workers and communities while demonstrating that unions remain committed to workplaces and communities that are safe, welcoming, and free from discrimination.

We especially encourage union locals to march together with their banners, flags, and members to show the strength of labour solidarity in our community.
