With the mandate of "Reaching Equality At Last" Get REAL is a student-run, not-for-profit initiative started by students to work towards eliminating homophobia, and creating a safe space for all, on campus, as well as in the broader Kingston community. Get REAL seeks to eliminate LGBT discrimination and bullying, a

nd promote inclusivity for everyone. Our primary mandate is to speak to students in person - at our high school and middle school presentations. We welcome everyone and anyone, so shoot us an email at [email protected] to get involved!

On June 17th, we are participating in Get REAL's Virtual 5K, the Rainbow Road. We would love for you to support us by donating to the campaign! All donations benefit Get REAL's amazing educational programming to support 2SLGBTQ+ youth across Canada and the Rainbow Railroad's life-saving efforts to provide safety to LGBTQ+ refugees globally. As part of our Love is Love Week we are partnering with the Student Life Centre, and the Peer Support Centre to host a Love Yourself social this Thursday, February 17th at 7pm! This will be an open mic event where you will have the opportunity to share your own stories of self-love, empowerment, and coming out! We hope to see you there!
