They say a picture is worth a thousand words, which is great because the leaders completely forgot to take any photos last week! We were just having too much fun.
Here is what went down while our cameras were tucked away:
🦫 Beavers: Headed to Stronach Park for an awesome night of fishing
🐺 Cubs: Stayed out of the heat for an indoor drive-in movie
⚜️ Scouts: Prepped the canoe trailer for upcoming adventures and fueled up with delicious personal pizzas🍕🛶

This week our Beavers and Cubs enjoyed a casual swim at 14 Wing Greenwood, splashing, sliding, and working toward Aquatic Skills Level 1 and Level 2.
Meanwhile, our Scouts rolled up their sleeves and spent the evening tending to our Group Garden.
Yes, we have a garden! We are planning some updates over the summer and hope to add a few fun activities families can enjoy on their own time during the break.
Another active week across all sections.

Our Scouts spent the weekend on an epic Fantasy Camp adventure 🏕️🐉
They absolutely rolled with it, battling bravely, healing teammates, and trading their way through quests like true heroes ⚔️🛡️✨
Yes, there was even a dragon… and a full hands‑on feast to celebrate their victories!

A true D&D‑style journey brought to life outdoors, powered by teamwork, imagination, and classic Scout skills 🎒🌲
They definitely earned their +1 to Outdoor Adventure and maybe even unlocked the Be Prepared proficiency bonus.

A legendary weekend for a legendary group of Scouts. A huge thank you to the Scouters who planned, prepped, and made the magic happen 🙌💚

Amazing things happen when youth step into Scouting. This is just one example.

A fun, week for everyone.

A week late but worth the wait!
🐾 Beavers braved another very buggy hike , this time at Clairmont Park.
🐺 Cubs took a Hot Hike from 14 Wing Greenwood to Dairy Queen for a well‑earned cold treat and even spotted a beaver dam along the way.
🚴 Scouts went on a long bike ride all the way to Cloud Lake.

Summer is here and our youth are out and about in the community.

What a weekend on the water! Our Cubs and Scouts teamed up for an epic canoe trip, paddling from 14 Wing Greenwood all the way to the Old Mill Trail for food and a lively gunwale bobbing competition. Along the way they spotted eagles, geese, and even a beaver. Perfect weather made it easy to enjoy each other’s company, practice skills, and of course, get a little wet.

Our sections had a great week.
🐾 Beavers made their own bird feeders using materials from home and even used the glue gun safely with supervision.
🐺 Cubs took a well‑earned break between Spring Camp and their Canoe Trip.
🏕️ Scouts got creative and designed their Fantasy Camp banners.
Lots of fun and imagination across the group.
