Kingston Pride

Kingston Pride Kingston Pride is a grassroots organisation established in 1989 that works to promote awareness and inclusion of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Want to collaborate?

Kingston has celebrated the diversity of the LGBTTIQQ2SA* community in Kingston and the surrounding area. Kingston Pride coordinates a wide range of activities, including: an annual Pride parade, social gatherings, dances, sporting events, educational workshops, speaker events, film showings, theatrical performances, art exhibitions and more. Pride gives us the opportunity to be willingly visible

in our community; to show the world our diversity; to give thanks to those before us who have campaigned for our rights, and to give voice to our ongoing quest for equality. Despite government legislation, many within the LGBTTIQQ2SA* community of Kingston still live in fear of discrimination. Kingston Pride is our opportunity to confront those fears, to gather as a community and to be out and proud to ourselves and those around us. Want more information? Interested in becoming involved? Have ideas/suggestions? Want to sponsor an event? Please email us: [email protected]

* Including, but not limited to: Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Tr*******al, Transgender, Intersex, Q***r, Questioning, 2 Spirited, Allies

Come one, come all to the annual Kingston Pride cruise!

We’re here to celebrate Pride Month, watch fantastic performances, and raise money for Kingston Pride.
The Out on The Queen Boat Cruise presented by Chic Hair & Esthetics Centre! This year, we are featuring drag AND burlesque!!

This boat cruise features a captivating cabaret show on the second level, and a dance party on the first level.
Featuring our hostess Tyffanie Morgan, and performers Blowpony, Amanda Manipulate, Harlequin Crow and Dare de LaFemme!

On the beautiful twinkling Kingstonian waters, be magically transported through an evening full of community, pride, diversity, amusement and gorgeous sight seeing as we transition from dawn to dusk.
Pride needs your help to keep the magic alive for years to come, so this year is a fundraiser for Kingston Pride.

Featured this magical evening are raffle prizes, giveaways, dancing and fabulous entertainment. We’re so back, by having the cruise on the big pride day of June 13th. After the parade and community fair, let’s party as the sun sets to wrap up a beautiful pride.

Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

It’s time to announce our 2026 parade marshal!! Please join us to congratulate .vallier 🎉 🥳

Josie Vallier is a passionate community builder, advocate, and proud trans woman living in Kingston. In her work with TransFamily Kingston, she helps create spaces where people can connect, find support, discover themselves, and feel a little less alone. Through the events she runs, her public speaking, and everyday acts of visibility, Josie strives to help others see that there is hope, joy, and possibility waiting on the other side of authenticity. She believes meaningful change is built through small acts repeated over time and her work is rooted in a simple belief: that everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved exactly as they are. She is humbled to serve as this year’s parade marshall.

Congratulations Josie!!! ❤️
