Indigenous histories are woven throughout Katarokwi — often hidden in plain sight.
All Our Relations Land Trust invites you to join us for the Katarokwi Indigenous Historic Sites Trolley Tour, a guided journey connecting people, places, land and stories throughout the city.
Along the route, we’ll explore locations connected to Indigenous burial grounds, gathering and encampment areas, former longhouse sites, waterways and other places that reveal a much deeper history of Katarokwi than is often represented in conventional historical narratives.
The tour is part of the broader Katarokwi Indigenous Placekeeping & Storytelling Project, which works to share Indigenous histories and relationships connected to places throughout Katarokwi.
