350 Kingston We are the Kingston ON chapter of 350.org, the global climate change awareness and action activism group.

We are a group of Kingston area citizens committed to taking action on climate change. We recognize climate disruption as a global crisis that is having a disproportionate effect on vulnerable communities around the world and we believe that local activism is one way we can seek to make positive change. We’re currently focusing on local government and participating in national and international campaigns.

Please join 350 Kingston/350 Canada for the National Day of Action for a Peoples MOU on Thursday June 25th at 12pm outside MP Mark Gerretsens office.
On June 25th, one week before the proposed route for the West Coast pipeline is set to be announced, thousands of people from across Canada will take action at their local MP offices.
Together, we will deliver massive copies of the “People’s MOU” and call on our elected leaders to sign a deal with the people instead of big oil companies.
Our goal is to demonstrate widespread public opposition to the federal government’s recent actions to slash climate policies, gut environmental protection, and fast-track destructive fossil fuel projects.

The government's own housing report details that land from the Greenbelt is not needed to meet the government's own new housing targets. We are going to need this land to eat. Please sign this petition asking the new Housing Ninister to return the land to the Greenbelt.
Thank you, Gavin

Our new housing minister will review lands removed from the Greenbelt after explosive reports on Greenbelt development gifting developers $8bn. Call on Paul Calandra to return all lands to the Greenbelt: https://act.leadnow.ca/greenbelt_hsgmin/?source=fb
