Hello everyone!!

Thank you all for following along on Clyde's Journey!

As I seen we have alot of new followers, so ill fill everyone in quickly on a little bit about Clyde..

Clyde was born with Bilateral Clubbed Feet, ABS (Amniotic Band Syndrome) upper right arm, Syndactyly (left hand) amd Symbrachydactyly (right hand).

He had first surgery on Amniotic Band day after he turned 1 to have half the band released, when they did the zplasty surgery they were abit to repair 1 damaged nerve, an was told that his arm was all fat thats why its bigger.
Clyde still doesn't have any use or feeling in his right arm/hand due to the Amniotic Band, but surgeon said we should know more when he turns 5. (Currently 3 years old.)

On October 28th 2025, Clyde went in and had double hand surgery done left hand to separate his 3 webbed fingers, and to remove a cyst in his right hand from him scoot an using his hand for support.
Clyde healed very fast an is doing amazing learning new things with his fingers separated.

Learning to read after we read to him.

Clyde also has been working on potty training in his own way,

Knows his ABCs, working on recognizing letters.
Know how to count 1-10 by himself, 1-20 with out help, but recognizes his numbers,
Tracing his name and letters.

Clyde also knows how to take off his shoes, AFOs, and socks by himself.

Waiting for appointment with his Physiotherapy worker and OT worker to talk next steps for school in September 2027.

April is Limb Difference Awareness Month 💙

This one is deeply personal for me. My son was born with limb differences, and through him, I’ve learned more about strength, resilience, and unconditional love than I ever thought possible.

He is not defined by what makes him different—he shines because of it. Every day, he shows us all that ability comes in many forms, and that courage can look like the smallest victories.

This month, I’m celebrating him and raising awareness for all the incredible individuals living with limb differences. 💙

Its going on 3 months since Clyde has had his double hand surgery done.. its been 1 hell of a recovery an getting him back into his daily eating routine.. somes days were good, some days were hits an miss.. but were getting there 1 day at a time.

Hes back eating his Kraft Dinners, cookies, donuts, apple sauces, yogurt tubes an chocolate pudding (even thos list is small right now its start).. how did it start you may ask.. he woke up one morning am asked fot Strawberries an bananas.

Way to go Clyde on your amazing recovery! We love you an are soo proud of you!
