Thank you to everyone who joined us this week for our 2026 Member Awards Ceremony! 🌟

It was a wonderful evening spent celebrating the achievements, growth, kindness, leadership, and perseverance of members from our after-school programs across all of our locations. We are so proud of each and every young person recognized and grateful for the positive impact they make within our Clubs and communities.

A special thank you to the families, sponsors, community members, and staff who joined us to help celebrate. Congratulations to all of our award recipients and nominees. We can't wait to see all that you accomplish in the year ahead! 💚

🏒🔥 Tonight is Game 5, and things are heating up!

We’re proudly cheering on former BGC Club Kid Taylor Hall as he competes on hockey’s biggest stage.

From his days at the Club to the NHL Playoffs, Taylor’s journey is an incredible reminder of what can happen when young people are supported, encouraged, and given opportunities to thrive.

All the way from Kingston, our members, staff, and community are rooting for you! Taylor Hall Carolina Hurricanes

Before the NHL. Before Playoffs. Before spotlight.

Taylor Hall was a Club Kid.

As he continues his journey in the NHL Playoffs, we are celebrating his excellence, and the limitless potential of every young person who walks through the Boys and Girls Club doors.

⏰ Last chance to make a difference.

As the 2026 Reg Shadbolt May Campaign comes to a close, there is still time to send local children to camp without barriers.

Through exciting features with The Kingston Whig Standard, we have been able to highlight the impactful stories of Kingstonians who have been integral to the Boys and Girls Club, most recently, the Churchill family.

Anna and Edward Churchill were generous and well traveled individuals who dedicated themselves to their foundation. They contributed to it continuously through their lifetime, and in their passing, shared a gift with the Boys and Girls Club that solidified their legacy within the local community.

Read the story now on the local news tab of The Kingston Whig Standard!

This year, our goal is to ensure 600 children can experience the friendship and adventure that camp provides, without being held back by cost. For many families, camp would not be possible without the support of our community.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this year's campaign, and helped to carry forward a legacy of caring for local children and youth. 💚

Together, we can ensure that 600 children experience camp this summer. Donate today through the link in our bio or at bgcsoutheast.ca before the campaign ends.
