Update to U9 Panthers Select Program

09/27/2026

09/21/2026

On September 13th, CAL Hurricanes Association and Paladins Fort Henry Association hosted a free clinic for team staff and volunteers, with 23 participants from across the league.
The program focused on minor hockey player development, seasonal planning, age-appropriate practice design and, team management and regulations aimed at enabling new coaching staff and volunteers. In-class instruction included an outstanding presentation by Colin McAuslan, MHK, CSCS, CSCP, Head Coach, Strength and Conditioning and Adjunct Professor with Queen's University Athletics and Recreation (High Performance). The day closed with an on-ice demonstration of age-appropriate practice design and delivery across multiple age groups.

Thank you to everyone who helped put this together, and to the volunteers who gave up a Sunday to invest in their teams.
