Some of the best things about Fractal have nothing to do with the building and everything to do with the people inside it.

Over the years, our community has grown into something so much bigger than a workspace. It’s become a family of incredible people, lifelong friendships, shared celebrations, endless laughter and memories we’ll cherish forever.

From the familiar faces who have been with us since the beginning to the friendships that continue to grow, each of you has played a part in making Fractal what it is today.

We are endlessly grateful for the people who have supported us, believed in us, grown alongside us and filled these walls with so much life.

The spaces may bring us together, but it’s the people who make Fractal feel like home.

Here’s to many more years of friendship, community and making memories together!

A BIG thank you to Kingsbridge Retirement Community for treating our Fractal members to lunch today! 🥪💛

It was incredibly well received, and we absolutely loved having the Kingsbridge team in our space. There’s something pretty special about local organizations coming together, sharing a meal and getting to know the people behind the businesses in our community.

Located right here in Kingston, Kingsbridge offers a vibrant approach to retirement living with Independent and Assisted Living, beautiful suites, restaurant style dining, wellness and fitness programs, social activities, a theatre, library, bistro and even a heated saltwater pool. Their focus is on creating a warm, supportive community where residents have choice, connection and plenty to look forward to each day.

One of our favourite Fractal traditions is rolling through the workspace with a surprise treat for our members… and today’s delivery was trail mix! 🥜🍫

Our Room Service cart has served up everything from organic protein balls and fun cereals to green shots, protein shakes and plenty of other little surprises along the way.

Because sometimes the best part of the workday is hearing that cart coming down the hall and wondering… what did Fractal bring us today?!

And don’t worry, Room Service isn’t going anywhere. We plan on surprising, snacking and treating our Fractal community for years to come.

Work hard. Snack often. Room Service is on the way. 💛

“You Look Beautiful Like That.” 🖤

A little weekend pop in from Grayson to check out the progress on a very special client’s new office renovation — and we couldn’t resist this photo. 🚲

This wall was inspired by one of our favourite exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Ontario, You Look Beautiful Like That, whose title comes from the Malian phrase “i kany’ tan.” Popularized by photographer Seydou Keïta, it captures something we absolutely love: celebrating people as they are and creating a setting that lets their personality shine.

It felt like the perfect inspiration for our third floor kitchen and lounge space.

Art. Personality. A little unexpected fun. And a bike that just happened to complete the shot perfectly. 😉

We’re getting SO close to revealing this office and cannot wait to show you what’s behind these doors.

Some young people steal your heart from the moment you meet them, and Sydney Cox is one of them. 💗

We first met Sydney at one of our Fractal Holiday Markets. At only 12 years old, she is the talented local artist and young entrepreneur behind HeARTspire.

Sydney has now created something incredibly special just for us: Pocket Cards, Fractal Edition! ✨ Every card was thoughtfully designed on brand with Fractal, with names inspired by everything we represent under our roof, from The Viv to The Flamingo and so much more. She even created this beautiful custom dispenser for our community!

For only $2, members can find these handmade cards in our first floor lounge and pick one up to brighten someone’s day.

Huge shoutout to everyone who supported Fractal’s August clothing drive! 👗

Today, our owners Dave and Laura took their daughter, Vivian, to drop off the huge mountain of community donations. Viv got to meet Lindsay MacDonald, the Executive Director of Dress for Success Kingston, and learn firsthand about the incredible impact they have supporting local women as they enter the workforce. Building the next generation of leaders starts young! 🌱
