VOL 2. Second Skin
Before fashion becomes public performance, it is felt as it rests against the body. Second Skin turns inward, exploring clothing as the layer that mediates between the self and the world. This shoot focuses on intimacy through garments worn close to the body and shaped by movement, familiarity, and touch. Here, sheer layers and soft textures emphasize fashion not as presence rather than display.
Second Skin considers how garments become extensions of identity through repeated wear. These are pieces that protect without hardening and support without constraining. The body is not styled for an audience, but allowed to exist by itself.
Positioned after The Archive, this shoot shifts the narrative from inheritance to embodiment. If the archive establishes where fashion comes from, Second Skin asks how it is experienced privately when no one’s watching. Just you. Just the fabric.
