Well….2 weekends of attempting to have a yard sale to raise awareness & funds for the rescue was a failure. Volunteers didn’t show up, or help promote online or do anything they said they would. We had literally a handful of help, which just wasn’t enough. I have made more today in donations from new volunteers than we made yesterday. Don’t have the total yet from the sale but I guarantee it wasn’t enough.
We will be posting our items online for sale & attempt to raise money that way.
To the people who showed up, on time, thank you so much. You might not think you helped but you have no idea how much you actually did!!
I’m not sure if items will be posted here or somewhere else but please be on the lookout.

Yard sale again this weekend!! More items have been added as we desperately need funds for the 11 little babies we took in today alone!!! It’s raining babies!!! Come see what we have, we have horse saddles & items, all sorts of cages & carriers, all cages come with free bowls & toys that you can pick out yourself! We have camping items, outdoor items, tires, rims, truck cap, motorcycle, housewares….and if u don’t see what you’re looking for…..ask because we might just have it!!
You will even be able to see some of the babies that your donations can help save, feed & house over winter if need be!!!!
Want to volunteer?? We could use the help during the sale, after the sale…anytime that you’re available!!
Do you hate people?? This is the best place to volunteer!!! The animals make it all worth the hard work & extremely long hours!! Or short hours…lol

Well, day one of our sale was….crazy, hectic, busy & a little disappointing in the fact that all these people want to help & volunteer & only TWO people showed up!! So thank you Glenda & Jane? lol!!
It’s difficult to run a wildlife rehab without volunteers, even more difficult to raise money counting on those volunteers to help us out. Not a phone call or text or anything (except for 1) to say they weren’t coming.
These animals depend on us & we depend on people, especially the ones that make commitments.
We will try again tomorrow.
