Today marks a historic moment for Canada 🇨🇦

The Artemis II mission is preparing to launch — and aboard is Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, set to become the first Canadian to travel around the Moon.

What makes this even more inspiring?
Jeremy Hansen started his journey as an Air Cadet.

From cadet training to spaceflight, this is proof that the skills learned in the Air Cadet program — leadership, discipline, teamwork, and confidence — can take you anywhere… even beyond Earth

365 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron extends our deepest condolences to the cadets, staff, and families affected by the tragic bus accident in Sainte-Rose-de-Watford, Quebec.

Our thoughts are especially with the family and friends of the cadet who was lost, and with all those who were injured and impacted by this heartbreaking event.

The cadet community is built on teamwork, respect, and supporting one another. During this difficult time, please know that the members of 365 Squadron stand with you in solidarity and remembrance.

Cadets from the Lloyd Sparky Squadron showcased their confidence and public speaking skills and it was packed with excitement and information.

Cadets presented speeches on a variety of thoughtful topics, with the most popular being “What does leadership mean to you, and how have you demonstrated it?” and “What is your dream job, and how is the Air Cadet program preparing you for this job?”
Judges noted that all cadets performed very well and showed strong preparation and effort.
The top three cadets were:
1st Place – Cpl Bernard
2nd Place – Cadet Ranjbaran
3rd Place – Cpl Jackson
Cpl Bernard, who is from Eston, will represent the Lloyd Sparky Squadron at the next level of competition in North Battleford this March.

Congratulations to all participating cadets on a successful evening, and best of luck to Cpl Bernard as he advances in the competition.

Jan 22 - From joining the “dark side” in blue back in 2006 to serving in nearly every role imaginable, Captain Shepard has left an incredible mark on our Air Cadet Corps. A true leader, mentor, and steady presence, his dedication, guidance, and quiet humour have shaped countless cadets and officers along the way.

Captain Vass was formally presented with the Canadian Forces Decoration (CD) this evening in recognition of 12 years of loyal and dedicated service to His Majesty’s Canadian Armed Forces.

Established in 1949, the Canadian Forces Decoration is one of the most recognized honours awarded to military members, symbolizing devotion to duty, professionalism, and sacrifice. The medal serves as a token of gratitude from the Crown and the country for years of unwavering service.
Congratulations Capt. Vass, we are honored to have you as part of our squadron. Captain Nahachewsky presented the medal during the CO parade tonight.
