🎄✨ A huge THANK YOU to our amazing community! ✨🎄 (with a few edits)

Because of your many generous donations to the 2025 Kindersley Santa's Hut Program there will be so many happy families this holiday season—and we couldn’t be more grateful! ❤️ The program is a fundraiser as well for the programs provided by the WCCFSC throughout the year.

It is almost impossible to thank everyone personally without missing someone, but we very much appreciate every one of the volunteers. Thanks to Santa for coming out and all the volunteers who helped set up, sort, shop, wrap, and smile as the youngsters did their shopping. Thank you to the Junior Klippers organization for once again bringing smiles with the Teddy Bear Toss game and helping the kids shop—you’re fan favourites off the ice as well!

A special shoutout to this year's coordinator Shawna Pierce for all the hard work and dedication that went into organizing the Kindersley Santa’s Hut. And to the many coordinators who came before her, your legacy of giving lives on. 🎅🎁 Of course, a huge thank you is reserved for the many local businesses in Kindersley who took the time to drop off money, gift cards, and presents. We wouldn't have a 30 year success record without you.

This is what community spirit looks like. Wishing everyone a joyful and festive holiday season! 🎄✨

The West Central Crisis & Family Support Centre Inc. (WCCFSC) acknowledges that we operate on Treaty 6 Territory, the traditional lands and homeland of the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene, and Nakota Sioux peoples. We are grateful to the ancestors of the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples whose footsteps have marked these lands for generations and reaffirm our relationship with one another in the spirit of truth and reconciliation. We recognize the intergenerational harm of residential schools on Indigenous children, families, and communities. We hold in our hearts the children who were lost in the residential school system.

May is Sexual Violence Prevention Month.

It is a time to raise awareness, support survivors, and promote education around consent, respect, and healthy relationships.

At West Central Crisis & Family Support Centre, we remain committed to preventing and addressing sexual violence in all its forms.

We are proud to work in tandem with other organizations addressing sexual violence, human trafficking, and abuse.

Sexual violence, in any form is not harmless, it causes lasting damage to people across every aspect of life. It undermines trust, safety, and dignity. It can create severe physical and mental health impacts that have long-lasting consequences.

By speaking out and standing together, we help create safer communities and work toward any sexual violence in all forms.

Rapid Access Counsellor (Children, Youth, & Caregivers), Asha Patel; Executive Director, Michelle Weber; Rapid Access Counsellor (Adults), Jeanine Russell; Family Violence Intervention Coordinator, Melissa Morrison.
