Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation

Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation You as a community are the heart to our Foundation. Without your help, we could not exist. We appreciate the generous donations received throughout the year.

With your donations, you help our health care professionals provide a full spectrum of specialized patient care with the most sophisticated medical equipment. About the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation

The Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation was established in 1995 as a non profit charitable organization. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that

is committed on representing the people of Kincardine and the surrounding communities. The sole purpose of the Foundation is to raise funds for the benefit of our local hospital. It is our hope that the public will continue to support the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation to maintain the highest level of health care in our local community. On behalf of all of the staff, volunteers and patients at our hospitals and anybody who may require care in the future, the Foundation offers its own sincere gratitude for your generosity. We couldn't do it without you! Thank you!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Municipality of Kincardine and the Township of Huron-Kinloss for their generous support of the Kincardine hospital expansion and MRI. Your leadership is helping build a stronger, healthier future for our communities.

These municipal contributions — committed throughout the campaign — have helped bring us to $14 million raised to date. As we move into the final stretch, we are working toward the remaining $4 million needed before construction begins in 2027.

Together, we are building health care for generations.

Today, the South Bruce Grey Health Centre and the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation unveiled the new architectural renderings of the redeveloped Kincardine hospital — the first time our community has seen what the expanded facility will look like.

The project will deliver:
• Modern spaces and equipment for our Emergency Department, Medical Imaging, and Laboratory Services — 2.5x larger
• Bruce County’s first MRI, bringing advanced imaging close to home
• Space built for today’s needs and tomorrow’s growth

We proudly welcomed donors, hospital staff, Foundation and SBGHC Board members, the SBGHC CEO, the Mayor of Kincardine and the CAO of Huron-Kinloss to today’s launch event.

Our Foundation launched an ambitious $18M campaign in 2022 to fund the project's local share. With $14M now raised, we are in the final stretch — $4M left to finish before construction starts late spring/early summer 2027.

This is our hospital. Join us in building it.
