Thank You, One!
Drop-in at The Bridge is deeply grateful to Hydro One for the generous $25,000 grant we received last August.
With Hydro One’s support, we provided approximately 10,000 meals beyond our Free Food Store, helping seniors, teens, families, and individuals access nourishing food.
At a time when food costs continue to rise, this grant made a meaningful difference by allowing us to continue offering hospitality, connection, and a welcoming place where people feel they belong.
Thank you, Hydro One, for investing in our community and helping us care for our neighbours.

Could you cook once a month for local teens?

Drop-in at The Bridge is looking for two new volunteers to team up starting in September for our Thursday Teen Lunch program.

This team would prepare a meal once a month for high school students who come to Drop-in for food, connection, and encouragement. Volunteers will be reimbursed for any ingredients required to cook.

Our next faithful step is about the foundation that helps us show up with consistency and care. A dedicated kitchen supports every meal we prepare and the volunteers who make it possible. It’s a space that helps our community belong, together.

Drop-in Free Food Store Update

We want to let our community know that beginning Saturday, June 13, from 11 am to 1:30 pm, the Drop-in at The Bridge Free Food Store will move to a temporary location at Kincardine Baptist Church.

This move allows us to continue serving our guests in a welcoming and practical space while we work toward our long-term vision of bringing our kitchen and Free Food Store together in one permanent location.

We are grateful to Kincardine Baptist Church for opening its doors and helping us continue this important work in our community.

Our Free Food Store remains committed to providing food support in a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment.

Questions? Please contact us at [email protected].

Thank you for your continued support as we take this next step.

Borrowed kitchen spaces have brought us together, but they can’t hold the full story of our growing community table. We need a place of our own, where every meal is made with care, consistency, and dignity. Community is about sharing a home.

There's a quiet moment before every meal at Drop-in at The Bridge — a moment filled with respect, gratitude, and shared dignity. It's when we gather, not just to eat, but to honour each other's presence at the table. This simple act reminds us that every meal served is a chance to build connection and belonging.

Join us in creating these moments of dignity and community. Volunteer or support our work today and help us keep the table open for all.

Consistency is the quiet power that turns good intentions into lasting change.

When a community chooses steady rhythms over quick fixes, it builds trust, deepens connections, and creates a foundation that supports everyone with dignity.

Together, we show up again and again—because true belonging grows from what we do every day, not just in moments.

A home base turns a community hub from a good idea into a lasting place of belonging.

Having a dedicated space means we can welcome more neighbors consistently, share meals with dignity, and build relationships that last.

Join us in making this vision real—be part of the next chapter for Drop-in at The Bridge.
