❤️ The Sound of Music: It’s a Family Affair! 🎶

There’s something special about theatre bringing people together, but this production of The Sound of Music takes that idea quite literally! From real-life family members sharing the stage to the friendships and theatre families formed along the way, this cast is full of connections both onstage and off.

Theatre is about more than learning lines and hitting your cues. It’s about making memories, supporting one another, and finding a place where people of all ages can come together to create something wonderful. And with so many family ties woven into this production, we think the von Trapps would feel right at home! 💕

🎟️ 🎟️ Tickets are still available!

🎶 Meet Maria von Trapp… if she lived in 2026! 📱✨

Just to be clear, our production of The Sound of Music is still the timeless classic you know and love, complete with all the heart, music, nostalgia, and Do-Re-Mi magic. ❤️🎶

But for a little social media fun, we wondered: What would Maria von Trapp ( Played by Jenn Peter’s ) be like in 2026?

So, we asked our actors to imagine what their characters’ social media profiles might look like today. First up:

📱 Maria von Trapp’s Instagram page… because obviously, Maria would have one. 😉

From the hills to hashtags, and singing on mountaintops🗻 to posting inspirational reels, we’re giving our classic characters a playful 2026 spin online, while keeping the production itself rooted in the beloved story you know.
After all, the hills may be alive with the sound of music, but in 2026, they’re probably alive with Wi-Fi too. 😂

Keep watching for more Sound of Music… but make it 2026 character profiles! 👀

🎟️ Tickets are still available:

In-person tickets are also available through Victoria Park Gallery.

What do you think of ? Would you follow her? 😂🎶
