Round the Mountain The Round the Mountain Festival is a full day of races, kids events and music held in June in Kimberley, BC.

KIMBERLEY'S PREMIER MULTI-DISCIPLINE ADVENTURE EVENT. "THE SPECTACULAR ANNUAL ROUND THE MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL SHOWCASES KIMBERLEY'S BEAUTIFUL AND DIVERSE TRAILS." Hosted by the Kimberley Trails Society, the Kootenay Orienteering Club, and the Kootenay Freewheelers' Cycling Club, the spectacular annual Round The Mountain Festival showcases Kimberley's beautiful and diverse trail network and features th

e Round The Mountain Route. Participants can choose from a variety of four hiking, running, and mountain biking challenges around North Star Mountain. Kids events, music, food and drinks will provide fun and entertainment for everyone. All events start and finish at the Kimberley Nordic Centre.

The RTM2026 results for the 10K run; 20K Run and 20K Bike are now posted. Note: If you opted to take the slightly easier route on Nuts and Volts trail near the end of the run instead of going up and over Yikes you'll find yourself listed in the 10K or 20K Alternate category.

Good news! has graciously offered us use of their maintenance lot again! From the lot it is a quick 500m walk/run/pedal to the festival. To get there, follow Gerry Sorensen all the way to the end. Please consider parking here if able and leaving the Nordic Centre lot for those who need closer access.
