Camp cooking is getting its own festival this month thanks in part to KORE member Cookware and its founder Brent Firkser.

Backcountry Table is a new, three-day gathering celebrating outdoor cooking, camping, and community at Whitewater Mountain Resort near Nelson, BC, September 11-13.

Expect hands-on workshops, long-table dinners, campfire stories, recipe swaps, and plenty of opportunities to sharpen your backcountry culinary skills. Whether you're an overlander, bikepacker, backpacker, or weekend camper, this event is all about bringing people together through great food and the outdoors.

Whether it's a torn tent fly, a jacket that's seen one too many adventures, or a backpack that's starting to wear out, our experienced repair technicians can help extend the life of your gear. Stop by our fully equipped mobile repair unit for a free assessment and repair. If an item can't be repaired, we'll help you find the best path to get it back in service.

Before you visit, please make sure:
• Your gear is clean and ready for assessment
• Clothing has been washed
• Dirt, sand and vegetation have been removed

♻️ This summer, KORE partnered with Valhalla Pure Outfitters to bring the Rehub Tour to VPO locations in Invermere, New Denver and Nelson, helping outdoor enthusiasts repair their favourite gear.

The partnership extended the life of hundreds of outdoor products, and kept valuable gear in action instead of heading to the landfill. It also highlighted the KORE and VPO's commitment to sustainability, quality gear, and thriving outdoor communities.
