Killam Ag Society Our vision is a healthy & active community. Our mission is to achieve our vision through exceptional facilities, events, and programs in our community.

November 29,1972 the Killam & Distract Agricultural Society was reinstated
to apply for grants for the additional development of the building. With these grants, funds from generous donations and countless hours of
volunteer work, the Killam Agriplex was opened on January 1,1974

🍽️ CALL FOR CATERING BIDS! 🍽️

We are now accepting catering bids for our upcoming Fundraiser Night on April 10th, 2027 at the Killam Community Hall.

We are looking for a caterer to provide:

🥗 Side dishes

🍰 Desserts

🍽️ Meal service

🧹 Cleanup of the kitchen and tables following the event

Please note: Meat will be provided separately and is NOT required as part of the catering bid.

The Battle River Knights hockey season is in full swing, and we’ve got a full weekend of action ahead!

From tiering games to league matchups, our teams are hitting the ice October 16–18.

Check out the schedule, find your team, and come show our players some support!

The “Gordie Enghoj Den” entrance is officially complete!

A huge thank you to Karen Wolbeck with Willow Hill Designs for taking this idea and bringing it to life. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

And the thank-yous aren’t finished yet! ❤️

We also want to recognize Melinda Kroetsch for her creativity and work behind the design of the Gordie mural and the fundraising jerseys we shared a few days ago. Her designs helped bring another special piece of our arena project together.

So many talented people have played a part in these updates, and we’re excited to keep sharing them with you! 🏒

Another exciting update as our arena lobby transformation continues!

Our benches have officially received a much-needed facelift and are now assembled and looking fantastic. It’s amazing to see each piece of this project come together and breathe new life into our space!

A huge shoutout to Willow Hill Designs for their incredible work and idea on the fundraising jerseys purchased during last year’s fundraising night. 🏒 The finished product looks amazing and is such a special way to recognize the support of our community.

And there’s more to come…

Phase 1 of our arena lobby renovations is almost complete, and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s coming together!

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped bring this project to life. We’re so appreciative of the time, effort, and the financial support that has gone into making this space even better for our community. It’s looking amazing, and we can’t wait for everyone to enjoy it!
