Thank you Kristin Tracy for inviting me to speak and promote Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness at the Ontario Humanist Society's annual convention in Aurora yesterday. It was great to meet so many wonderful people and learn about your mission and cause.

I had the pleasure of speaking to a special group of medical professionals at Southlake Health hospital in Newmarket about my lung transplant story. They are the unsung heroes for our Donor families. Thank you Amanda.

They recently unveiled a wall with a beautiful mural honouring the Donor families and their loved ones who donated their organs to save the lives of others.

As we approach the end of the year, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible community that makes our work possible.

Please find attached a year-end message from the volunteers of the Toronto Lung Transplant Civitan Club. This letter contains a summary of our 2025 fundraising milestones, including the financial assistance provided to patients and our contributions to the UHN Lung Transplant Program.

In sharing this update, we want to express our deepest gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses, and the entire support staff within the Lung Transplant Program who make the gift of life possible every day. Their world-class expertise is matched only by their grace and compassion; it is because of their tireless commitment and 24/7 dedication that so many in our community have been given a second chance at life.

Above all, we carry in our hearts the donors and donor families whose priceless gift remains the foundation of everything we do.
