Please let us know if you're not able to make it out to the garden to assist and volunteer and to procure foods. We are out there every Friday to assure food stability for our community and can bring things back to town. We also understand transportation is an issue, and know many families would love to bring their children out, grandparents, cousins and friends to learn about growing food. We are working on a transportation plan and need feedback from you. If we can schedule a visit out to the gardens once a month would folks be interested in registering for a safe secure ride? Come spend a couple of hours with us, and experience the rewards of harvest. There will so much food in the coming weeks to share, and we need as many helping hands as we can get to keep it going. 🌱

EDIT: All gone within 5 hours! limlemt to those who swung by to collect 🧡
Garlic scapes are here! 🌱 PICKUP TODAY!

We've harvested a fresh batch and they're available for community members to take home and enjoy.

Also, thank you for your patience while we've been a little quiet on social media. We've been busy planting, planting, and planting some more! The good news is everything is finally in the ground, and we can't wait to share more garden updates with you throughout the growing season. 🌿💚

This is sure to be a treat for our little town this Friday! We're so happy to see theatre thriving and appreciate all the grow ups nurturing the arts in our youth. The ability to take words on a page and bring entire characters to life is so special. Does your child have a current favourite character, hero, team on your family bookshelf?

SESS High School Drama class will be presenting Alice on June 5th in our elementary school gym. Go to the SESS website to purchase tickets https://sess.sd53.bc.ca/
