The City of Kenora recently approved a temporary workers camp on Lakeview Drive, and Ogimaawabiitong – Kenora Chiefs Advisory (KCA) is thrilled that this development will support KCA projects, including Wiigwas Senior and Elder care and other improvements to the property, which will also be home to the redeveloped Lake of the Woods District Hospital.

To clarify: July 30 media reports in the Winnipeg Sun and Kenora Miner & News incorrectly linked the work camp to the All Nations Hospital Project. The newly approved work camp is independent of future hospital construction plans, and a separate workforce accommodation plan is expected to be developed when construction of the new hospital moves forward.

To help you stay informed on all developments, we've created a resource package. Click the link and bookmark important pages so you get all the info first:

"They don't get it. ... It's not something you can just pack up and quit."

Rod's honesty is part of his legacy, and we hope his story will help others understand that the road away from addiction is difficult.

We're commited to supporting the people who walk that road - because they deserve empathy, kindness and assistance.

And because there is hope.
