Today is September 30th, National Truth and Reconciliation Day. Our office will be closed as we pause to honour the children who never returned home, survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.
As an organization dedicated to children, youth and families, we recognize that reconciliation requires more than acknowledging one day. We are asked to listen, learn, reflect and take meaningful action to ensure Indigenous children, families, elders and their cultures are respected and valued always.
