Run to Peace

Run to Peace Join us on September 27th for a 5km run and/or walk in City Park, Kelowna, to raise funds and awareness for Little Women for Little Women in Afghanistan.

Join us for a day of fun, exercise, awareness and activism, as we run and walk 5km to raise funds & awareness for Little Women for Little Women in Afghanistan. All funds raised will be used to create education opportunities for women and girls in Afghanistan, as Little Women for Little Women in Afghanistan fights to restore human rights for all.

On your mark, get set, go! Run to Peace today was a total success! Thank you to all those who came out to run, walk, and cheer others on! We had lots of fun rocking out to Music World Studios talented performers and we loved getting up and dancing with our Zumba leaders Nicola and Rachelle! Thanks to everyone who made today possible; thanks to Walter Frank for donating apples, McDonalds and EcoWater Kelowna for the donation of water for our runners, and to all those who took time out of their Sunday morning to help us raise money and awareness for LW4LW's education projects on the ground in Afghanistan. We will be announcing our grand total raised later on! Together we made a difference!

Join us between 11:00 am and 11:20 for a totally awesome warm up dance party led by Vernon's very own mother-daughter Zumba team, Nicola Devereux and Rachelle Wightman.
