Did you catch the UBC (University of British Columbia) trivia questions posted yesterday by Sheriff Steve? He certainly kept everyone guessing!

Here are the questions along with the answers...

UBC was founded in 1908 and is ranked in the top 40 public universities in the world. It provides the most student beds in Canada, on campus, at 16,000.

The rumors are true, the Rotary Club of Kelowna Ogopogo successfully baked AND sold 100 homemade pies, raising an amazing $2,000 for our local community and charity projects.
It was absolute chaos in the kitchen. In fact, if you ran into our Co-Presidents, Anne and Trish, today and noticed a bit of extra flour in their hair or crust under their nails... now you know why. They were knee-deep in dough, rolling pins, and fruit filling for the greater good. The flour dust has finally settled, but we're pretty sure we'll be sweeping up pie crumbs until next Thanksgiving.
A HUGE special shout-out to Mitch and Sydney’s Your Independent Grocer for their incredible support in donating the pie shells. We couldn't have pulled off this massive bake-off without your help getting all those delicious ingredients together.
Missed out on grabbing a pie? Don't worry, you can still get a piece of the action. Why not join our club and help us out with our next crusty project? (We promise the company is just as sweet as the baking).

Looking to test your local knowledge and kick off your morning with a bit of friendly competition? Every week, our very own "Sheriff" Steve takes the floor to keep us on our toes!
This week, Sheriff Steve challenged us with some trivia focused on our very own University of British Columbia. Whether he is quizzing us on local history, Rotary facts, or Okanagan landmarks, Steve always manages to weave in fascinating questions that leave us both stumped and entertained.
Beyond the fun and laughs, Sheriff Steve's weekly fines and trivia sessions help raise vital funds for the community projects and organizations our club supports throughout the year.

EMERGENCY APPLE PIE ALERT
Listen up, Kelowna! We are officially down to the wire. Our legendary Rotary Club of Kelowna Ogopogo apple pies are disappearing faster than Ogopogo himself when someone actually pulls out a camera.
If you’ve been putting this off thinking, "Oh, I’ve got time," we regret to inform you that time is running out, and so are the pies.
If you miss out, your future self will be deeply disappointed, eating a bland store-bought cookie while weeping. Your kitchen will lack that heavenly, warm cinnamon-and-baked-apple aroma. Worst of all, our community will miss out on the amazing local service projects these pie sales support.

The countdown is on, and the crust is officially wearing thin. We are down to the final few of our Ogopogo-famous apple pies, and once they are gone, you will have to wait a whole year to taste this kind of perfection again. Our team has poured so much love, cinnamon, and flour into these bad boys that some of us are still finding pie crust in our hair.
