It was with great sadness that I read that King Harald V had passed away at 6:35 am today. He was truly a popular, gracious, and kind man who connected with people of all walks of life. Our condolences to King Harald's families as well as to the Norwegian people.

On behalf of all the Sons of Norway members in Canada, I send this note of Condolence.

What a terrible disaster for the city of Drammen! In BC we understand how wildfires spread and although this began as a house fire, fire can get away pretty quickly. Our heartfelt condolences for all those people who lost their homes.
