Karis exists within the continuum of charitable organizations that provide social services to vulnerable individuals living in our community and we are devoted to establishing a welcoming, safe and trustworthy environment where strength can develop. Karis Support Society is a non-profit organization that provides recovery-focused counselling, programming and support to women, and women with babies

or children within a supportive home environment. Our clients are women whose experiences of trauma, abuse, crisis or overwhelming stress have led to substance abuse or mental health challenges which have negatively impacted their lives and they are now actively working on personal recovery. Karis is situated in the Okanagan Valley and our mandate is to empower and equip individuals with skills so that they can successfully transition back into society.

We are so grateful for the community that continues to show up and willing to learn more about our programming!

Early last month we had the opportunity to present to the Sentes Group OurCommunity Committee and last week we popped into their office to pick up a donation towards our recovery program for women!

Thank you Sentes Automotive Kelowna Nissan@ Kelowna Mercedes-Benz for a committee dedicated to supporting vulnerable people and programs in our city!

Please join us for our 5th annual 'Runway of Recovery' event ... an afternoon of Fashion & Storytelling on Saturday, April 25th

Each year we feature 6 women from our recovery program who bravely share stories of their addiction to recovery. Stories that will INSPIRE, UPLIFT and AWAKEN community and CONNECTION.

We're excited to once again partner with who empower our women to step into their recovery with confidence, the afternoon will also feature an array of fabulous community sponsors through the silent auction.
