Today we want to thank YOU!
Thank you donors; without your support, none of this would be possible.

As well, thank you to anyone who has ever volunteered at an event, been involved on our Board, supported a build, or simply showed up to attend an event! Our community in Canada and Nepal are what we are deeply thankful for today.❤️

What are some barriers to education? And how do Her International and Creating Possibilities work together to identify them and break them down?

Prioritizing education means understanding what barriers exist and how we can work together as a community to make schooling more accessible for youth.

What a wonderful show of community generosity! ❤️

9 W**e & Pie 2026 raised an incredible $73,084, including $54,813 for Her International and $18,271 for the Child & Youth Advocacy Centre of Kelowna .

Our heartfelt thanks to The Edgecombes, Edgecombe Builders and the entire organizing team for bringing this event to life. To every sponsor, golfer, dinner guest, volunteer, donor, auction bidder, pie baker and w**e contributor—thank you for making it such a success!

Your support helps sustain Her International’s programs, supporting education, financial security, flood relief, classroom builds, health and leadership opportunities for women and girls in Nepal.

We are so grateful for the time, care and generosity behind this remarkable gift. Thank you for being part of our Her community. ❤️

Starting from a small loan of 15000 NPR ($137 CAD), Shanta has started pig farming, then paid off her loan, took out another loan, then bought a buffalo calf, and she has now even started selling vegetables.

Shanta is a beautiful example of the economic strength and progress that Mothers' Groups help facilitate.

This Gender Equality Week we are highlighting our Adolescent Health Program in rural Nepal, developed with Creating Possibilities Nepal, and taught by local instructors. In 2026 nearly 200 girls and boys joined mixed-gender sessions on consent, gender equality, reproductive health, and mental health, where they challenged stereotypes together. Students reported feeling more aware, confident, and respectful.
Because sexual and reproductive health equity takes all genders.
