A MESSAGE FROM REV. BARBARA SAMUEL

I’m writing to share with my family, friends, colleagues and community that it has officially been announced that I will be stepping away from my role as Staff Minister and Musical & Artistic Director at CSL Kelowna after more than 23 extraordinary years of service.

My husband, Neal Klassen, will also be stepping away from his roles at the Centre.

This decision comes after deep reflection and prayer. As the community moves into a new chapter under fresh leadership, I’ve come to realize that my own path is calling me in a different direction — one rooted in spiritual service, music, and a growing devotion to the work we’re building with CSL Kenya.

I remain deeply grateful for the many beautiful moments, memories, and relationships formed in this community. This community has shaped me, supported me, and inspired me in more ways than I can say. I will always carry the love, the music, and the sacred memories we’ve shared in my heart.
