🏳️‍⚧️Trans-Enby March 2026 | Community is our Power!🏳️‍⚧️

Looking back at this rainy but amazing day during the 2026 Pride Week where our community showed up strong to celebrate and march together.

The turnout was big and energy was high. It was a day that we hold close in our hearts as we navigate advocating and fighting for the safety and protection of our trans community.

Are you a q***r or 2SLGBTQIA+ youth between ages 18 and 29? This in person workshop on q***r relationships is designed just for you.

Do You Mind? Radical Q***r Relationships Workshop

Join a youth leadership team for an evening built by q***r youth, for q***r youth. This workshop was designed by young people in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to help other young people build healthy, fulfilling relationships on their own terms.

Ages 18 to 29 are welcome to attend. Doors open at 4:00 pm in downtown Kelowna.

The evening includes presentations, guest speakers, and an art therapy session, with plenty of space for reflection and connection. Topics covered include love and connection, the history behind relationship dynamics in our communities, identity policing, and how to build relationships rooted in care rather than pressure to fit a mold.

🏳️‍⚧️ KPS Stands With Saddle Lake Cree Nation: A Message from KPS President, Dr. Percy Lezard.

As President of Kelowna Pride Society, and as a Sqilxʷ, Two-Spirit and non-binary person, I stand in deep solidarity with Saddle Lake Cree Nation as it asserts its sovereign Treaty rights and jurisdiction to create a safe haven for people seeking and providing gender-affirming care.

Today, on World Su***de Prevention Day, we must name that ensuring equitable access to affirming health care (on reserve and in urban, rural and remote communities) is su***de prevention.

We were grateful to attend and support the Third Annual Two Spirit Powwow in kiʔláwnaʔ (Kelowna) on August 29, 2026.

We stand with the Syilx Indigiq***r Council, the volunteers, dancers, drummers, vendors, sponsors, and community for coming together to make this day possible.

We stand with the council for trusting Kelowna Pride to support putting on this event.

Community is the correction. Creating safe spaces is the work.

Next week, we’re launching our first organizing call for our SOGI123 x BC School Board Elections campaign! 🔔📞

As candidates across BC ramp up for the October election's new school board members, we want to make sure that the safety of q***r and trans children will be safeguarded.

SOGI123 is an anti-bullying program that supports educators to make schools inclusive and safe for students of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

And yet, we’re seeing that its support is precarious, with many wanting to see it scrapped from BC schools — leaving students more vulnerable to violence and hate.

So for the next couple of weeks, with the help of dedicated volunteers, we will be running an election campaign to ensure that whoever is voted into the School Board will keep q***r and trans children and their families safe.

If you want to participate, please join our Zoom call on SEPT 15TH @ 5PM PT at https://tinyurl.com/SOGIBCSchools, or click the link in bio!
