Itโ€™s amazing to see the incredible growth happening by the old Myra Wetlands trail!

The trail reroute was organized by Milt and Cam (consultant from .trails ) last April. Thanks to their leadership and the hard work of FOSS, this beautiful, sensitive ecosystem is protected, and the results are already paying off.

BC Trails Day is part of the international Trails Day celebration held annually on the first Saturday in June and is coordinated and promoted by the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC

Weโ€™re celebrating the importance of trails and encouraging more British Columbians to appreciate and give back to the trails they enjoy. FOSS will be doing a membership drive at Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park. Come and get your membership and leave with a snazzy pair of FOSS socks. We will also have scavenger hunt sheets available for families to enjoy the trails with.

From hand-built tunnels to the remote century-old work camps, itโ€™s like having a local historian right in your pocket while you walk or bike the trestles.

A huge shoutout to the awesome crew from who joined our trail crew last Friday for some hands-on trail maintenance!

Together we got to work permanently decommissioning a rogue trail that had led into the Arthon Quarry area. Not an easy job, but an important one to keep people on the right track and out of dangerous areas.

We love seeing local partners show up and put in the hard work alongside us to keep our trail network safe, sustainable, and beautiful. Thank you, FortisBC!
