Cops for Kids are committed to assisting children that are in medical, physical or traumatic crisis. We tirelessly work to raise funds to continue our ongoing support to the children in communities that we serve. Cops For Kids has many events throughout the year, however our signature event is the Cops for Kids Ride. This gruelling ten day ride occurs each year over some very challenging terrain.

We are driven by our commitment to the little people that we serve in the Southern Interior Region of British Columbia and are devoted to making a difference in their lives!

Nearly 100 years ago, the RCMP rode past our store when we were Shepherd’s Cash Hardware.

Back then, we contributed absolutely nothing.
Just stood there looking historic.

Fast forward to today…

Now Shepherd’s is proud to be a TOP SUPPORTER of the RCMP Musical Ride in Armstrong.

That’s right.
We’ve gone from accidental background prop…
to financial stakeholder.

We’re excited to invite our Little Ambassadors & their siblings to take part in a special opportunity to play an important role in the Cops for Kids ride this year. We’re asking children to help us design our annual thank you cards by colouring or creating a picture that reflects Cops for Kids. We design a new card each year for the ride, and these cards are shared with our generous ride hosts & donors to show our appreciation for their support. We encourage kids to get creative incorporate, our colours, cycling, or messages about helping kids in their artwork. Send it to us by email to [email protected] before Monday May 11th and you could be featured on this year‘s card.
