Central Okanagan Dog Agility Club CODAC's mission is to provide training in the sport of dog agility for handlers and their canine partners, using positive,

Dog agility is one of the fastest-growing dog sports in the world. It's a fun & exciting sport in which a team of dog & handler run through numbered courses to perform obstacles within a certain time limit. Agility competitions are exciting, whether you're watching in the crowd or participating! Dog agility was born at the 1978 Crufts Dog Show in England, where it was loosely based on equestrian jumping events...and since then, it's exploded in popularity all over the world. emphasizes teamwork, with the handler directing their teammate through the obstacles using a strategy of body and verbal cues. is a fun, healthy way to connect and play with your dog. creates a strong bond between handler and dog. can be enjoyed by people and dogs of all ages, as long as they are fit & healthy enough to meet the athletic challenges. accommodates all types & sizes of dogs, from mixed breeds to pure breeds. is a great way to get fresh air and exercise with your best friend.

We delivered the generous donations for the Central Okanagan Foodbank from our October Games Trial! The scale at the foodbank was under repair- so no official weigh in, but they were very grateful to receive this food plus $400 in cash! Thank you competitors for your generosity! 💛💙💛💙

🚨 CODAC Games Trial Opens Tonight at 7:00 PM for Non-Members! 🚨

The trial is not already full with members.

While CODAC has a strong membership base, our trials typically fill somewhere between 35–50% (on the high end) with members. Once entries open, all you keeners jump in quickly and the trial fills fast. This lends to frustration - understandably!

One thing worth remembering is that Agility Rocks can only count handlers, not vehicles. Our biggest limitation is parking, and we work very hard behind the scenes to find solutions.

After entries come in, our trial secretary starts the puzzle-solving process: manually combining husband-and-wife teams, merging family entries (looking at you, Downeys ❤️❤️), and grouping anyone who lets us know they are carpooling. Thanks to carpooling and a lot of work by our trial secretary, we clear most, or all, of the waitlist at many of our trials.

So if you want in, be ready when entries open at 7:00 PM tonight. Enter first, and then let us know if you're carpooling with someone so we can make the parking magic happen. If you don’t get in on agility rocks, fill out the premium and email the trial secretary ASAP with your completed premium.

Good luck, and we'll see you at the Games Trial! 🎉
