Seven teams. Seven incredible doghouses. One unforgettable day! 🏠🐾

Our inaugural SICA Bark & Build Doghouse Showcase, in partnership with The Home Depot x Pro, brought our members and the community together for something truly special!

More than 400 people joined us, and through our doghouse silent auction and the support of our amazing vendors, we raised $3,000 for Paws It Forward Dog Rescue! 💙

A huge THANK YOU to our seven talented member teams for showcasing their incredible craftsmanship, our vendors and everyone who helped make this event a success!

Take a look back at the builds, the builders and all the fun! 🎥👏

🎉 Happy Birthday to our incredible Operations Manager, Rebecca Goodman!

Rebecca is one of those people who keeps SICA moving while somehow always making time for a laugh, a helping hand or a quick check-in along the way. We’re so lucky to have her energy, dedication and personality as such a big part of our team. 💙

📣🏠🐶 LAST CALL TO BID!

Our first-ever SICA Bark & Build Doghouse Showcase took over The The Home Depot Canada Kelowna on Saturday, where seven talented SICA member teams put their creativity and craftsmanship on display with seven unique doghouses. 🎉

More than 400 people stopped by to check out the builds, meet the teams and join in the fun! And thanks to the incredible response, we’ve extended our silent auction until 12 p.m. TODAY! ⏰

There’s still time to take home one of these incredible builds while supporting a great cause. 100% of silent auction proceeds benefit Paws it Forward Dog Rescue , helping provide care and second chances for dogs in need. 🐾💙

Spread the word and let’s get every last doghouse sold! 👏

A solid day of swings, conversations, good company... and lots of laughs. The SICA Clubhouse Classic gave our team a chance to step away from the usual routine and spend some time on the fairway with others from across the Southern Interior construction community.

There were plenty of laughs, some friendly competition, and more than a few memorable shots along the way.

Always a good time when the industry gets together. Thanks to SICA | Southern Interior Construction Association for a great day!

A pair of work boots should never stand between a student and an opportunity. 🥾

When Central Okanagan Public Schools reached out about the need for proper safety footwear to help students access hands-on learning and career exploration opportunities, we knew we had to help.

In partnership with Mark’s Commercial and our local Mark's Work Warehouse, we were able to donate 11 pairs of much-needed work boots to the Rutland Senior Secondary Careers Department. The new boots will replace well-used pairs that supported many students over the years and were ready to be retired.

Available for students to borrow, the boots will support participation in hands-on programs at the school, SD23 dual-credit programs, job shadows, 'Student for a Day' experiences and site visits where appropriate personal protective equipment is required.

By removing the cost of purchasing specialized footwear, this donation will help more students safely and confidently explore careers in construction and the skilled trades, regardless of gender or financial circumstances. 👷👷‍♀️

SICA would like to thank Mark’s Work Wearhouse for working with us to get these boots into the hands of students. 👏
