We are thrilled to announce that Autism Okanagan received a $4,500 grant from the Community Foundation North Okanagan in support of our Vernon Young Adult Program (YAP)!

Our Vernon YAP provides neurodivergent young adults with a welcoming place to connect, build meaningful friendships, develop new skills, and be part of a community where they are accepted for who they are. For many participants, it is one of the few places where they truly feel they belong.

This generous funding will help us continue offering engaging weekly programming and ensure that young adults in the North Okanagan have access to opportunities that foster confidence, independence, and lasting social connections.

We are incredibly grateful to the Community Foundation North Okanagan for investing in a more inclusive community and helping us create places where neurodivergent individuals can thrive.
