Kelowna Kinsmen - Serving the Communities Greatest Needs since 1944! Meetings:
We meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday night from Sept. - June each year. Fellowship at 6:30pm, Meeting starts at 7:00pm with Dinner shortly after that. Meetings are mostly located at our Kin Hall: (1st Thursdays)

The Kinsmen Club of Kelowna was chartered on April 13, 1944 by District 5 Governor Cecil Alton and was sponsored by the Kinsmen Clubs of Vernon and Kamloops. It was the 15th club in District 5 (BC and Yukon) and the 102nd club in the Association. The club has since co-sponsored the Kinsmen Clubs of Summerland & Princeton and sponsored the Kinsmen Clubs of Rutland (in 1969) and Westbank (in 1979). Kin members: Throughout it’s 80-year history the Kelowna Club has also contributed greatly in the development of young men to take their places as successful members in all facets of life. Because of their training in Kinsmen they have been of added value to other organizations over their lives as well. The Kelowna club’s past has been very colorful and that is solely due to its members old and new. These fine men shall be remembered in our history capsule from its beginnings in 1944 to the current day…

Kin Fight Hunger with Feed the Need Food Drive 👏🏼❤️

Kin from across the country banded together in fall 2025 to “Feed the Need” in Canada with resounding success.

Feed the Need Food Drive was a Kin-wide service project aimed at addressing food insecurity across the country by encouraging clubs to get involved and raise food or funds for their local food banks and community food programs.

National Service Director Gord Patterson and Kin Canada Projects Coordinator Lindsay Irvine had hoped to see 50 clubs participate and raise around $25,000. The results blew them away.

Since Kin Canada Bursaries began in 1994, over $1.5 million has been awarded to community- and volunteer-minded students across Canada. Last year, 97 students were awarded a $1000 bursary. Approximately 800 students applied from all over Canada.
