Ten years ago, our community came together to help build a home for trades education at Okanagan College.

Today, we're seeing the impact.

Congratulations to OC students Vladyslav Usach (🥇 Collision Repair) and Emily Frick (🥉 Car Painting) on their incredible success at the 2026 Skills Canada National Competition!

Their achievements highlight the talent, determination, and hands-on learning that define trades education at Okanagan College.

As we celebrate 10 years of the Trades Training Centre, we're grateful to the donors and supporters whose generosity has helped students build skills, careers, and bright futures over the past decade.

Camping season is in full swing! OC Foundation has an RV FOR SALE!

2012 Keystone Cougar RLS

This trailer has been worked on by our RV students under the watchful eyes of their instructors as part of their program training. Once fully restored, vehicles are inspected by an authorized inspector and upon approval, are posted for sale.

This unit has one slide-out and all the standard amenities: Fridge, stove, furnace, hot water, and air conditioner. It comes with a powered awning and outside shower. It has a Winegard satellite dish mounted to the roof, a 100-watt solar panel with an MPPT controller and two TVs. There is also an RVQ hookup on the back of the trailer. Sleeps 6, front bedroom, dinette folds down and pull-out couch.

This RV has been completely resealed, had all systems checked, bearings repacked, and a complete gas test done on it.

Total length of 29’ 6”
Hitch weight of 630 Lbs
Base weight of 6127 Lbs
Carrying capacity of 1628 Lbs
GVWR of 7755 Lbs

This summer, Kelowna is hosting one of the biggest community celebrations of the season, and Okanagan College is proud to be part of it.

In partnership with the City of Kelowna and the BC Lions, Touchdown Kelowna is bringing the city to life from June 26 to July 4 with CFL action at the Apple Bowl, live concerts, Fan Fest at Waterfront Park, and programming at the Sails downtown.

As part of Okanagan College’s contribution to the event, our student housing will welcome visiting teams during the quieter summer months, helping showcase our campus while supporting this exciting community initiative.

Want to be part of the action?

Touchdown Kelowna is currently looking for volunteers to help welcome visitors, support festival activities, and create an unforgettable experience for our community.

Volunteer roles include host, usher, ticket scanning, parking support, kids’ zone, merchandise, site crew, will-call support and more.

As a thank-you, volunteers can choose between tickets to a BC Lions game in Vancouver on September 12 or concert tickets to The Road Hammers during the festival, plus commemorative items.
