We currently have openings for tutoring and 1:1 regulation sessions throughout July and August. Summer is a great time to build confidence, strengthen skills, and receive support in a positive and relaxed environment. ☀️💛

S had a great time building with Magformers magnetic blocks alongside his BI! 🧲✨ Together, they followed example photos to recreate different builds while also exploring their own creative designs through parallel play.

This activity supported fine motor skills, creativity, problem solving, and cooperative play. It was wonderful to see S trying out his own building ideas and discovering new ways to connect the magnetic pieces together! 💡💚

Sometimes after lots of learning and fun in the centre with our friends, we need a well-deserved water break and some time to relax! 💧✨

Taking breaks is so important for our learners as they build self-awareness and learn to recognize when their bodies need something, like a drink of water, rest, or a quiet moment to recharge.

Supporting our learners in meeting their own needs helps encourage independence, self-regulation, and healthy habits every day! 💛 🤩

E and her BI learned about cause and effect while reading a book! 📚✨

When E brought her BI's hand to touch a picture in the book, the BI labelled the picture out loud. This was a great activity to show E how pictures can translate to words when we press the picture, which helps to develop her understanding of how to use her AAC 💬💡
