To understand Dempsey Bob, one has to contemplate the place where he lives and works.

Visitors can journey through the flora and fauna of the Pacific Northwest Coast that are central to Dempsey Bob's work in a documentary that is screened within the exhibition 'Wolves'.

Titled 'A Wolf’s Way: Dempsey Bob' (17:14 minutes) viewers follow Dempsey to natural places which inspire his work; witness the carving of the Pacific Song of the Ancestors totem pole; see glimpses of his first Canadian retrospective; and be introduced to Keeley, his granddaughter, who is part of the next generation of Tlingit and Tahltan artists.

Shot between 2019 and 2023, 'A Wolf’s Way: Dempsey Bob' is jointly created by Dempsey Bob and Montréal based director, Mathias Arroyo-Begin.
