What better way to celebrate BGC Club Day than with games, crafts, and time spent together?

At AS Matheson After School Program, Club members enjoyed a fun-filled celebration that brought out creativity, laughter, teamwork, and plenty of Club spirit.

These everyday moments are part of what makes Club so special. They are opportunities to build friendships, express creativity, share food, laugh together, and feel a sense of belonging.

How do you recreate the BGC Jacks logo?

Our Club members had two great answers: gather toys, rocks, grass, and outdoor treasures, or work together and become the Jacks themselves!

For Week 3 of our BGC Club Day Challenges, Clubs celebrated creativity, movement, and connection by bringing the BGC logo to life in their own unique ways.

Some days just stick with you and this one was legendary 🙌 From all of us at BGC Okanagan, thank you.

To every player who hit the ice, every sponsor who stepped up, every volunteer who gave their time, every donor who gave generously, and every supporter - thank you for making Hockey Helps the Homeless a success.

This event was about more than hockey, it was about community coming together to support local youth. Proceeds will support the Upstream program, Shelter Diversion and the Youth Shelter.

What makes a Club feel like a Club?

For the members at The Club at AS Matheson After School Program, it’s the gym filled with laughter and movement, the playground filled with Okanagan sunshine and imagination, and the snack table filled with healthy food, homemade empanadas, and meaningful conversations.

For the BGC Club Day, Picture Our Club challenge, our members captured the spaces where they feel connected, welcomed, and happy to be together.

A few days at the BGC National Conference and our cups are fulll with big ideas, great conversations and inspiring people.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and bring fresh ideas back home to support the children, youth and families in our communities.

We’re also incredibly proud to celebrate Lianna and Kirstie who were recognized for an amazing 35 years with BGC Okanagan.

Huge thanks to everyone who shared their knowledge and passion at the conference. Now it’s time to take all this energy back to the Okanagan.
