Chickpeace Zero Waste Refillery is officially our next drop-off point for The Shoebox Project this year! ♻️💛



If you’re in the area, you can bring your filled shoeboxes OR items to help fill boxes directly to their shop during their open hours.

If you’ve ever been inside Chickpeace… you KNOW how special this place is. It’s intentional, it’s sustainable, it’s good for our planet, and it’s FULL of heart-led humans who care deeply about community impact. This partnership feels like such a perfect match.

WE HAVE OUR FIRST OFFICIAL DROP OFF LOCATION!!! Dream Skin Company is opening their doors to the community this year to collect your boxes so if you are in that area you can drop your filled shoeboxes or items to fill boxes Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 1-5 pm.

The Shoebox Project for Women is an unaffiliated, non-religious, Canadian charity that supports women experiencing or at-risk-of homelessness, and that celebrates diversity, builds awareness, challenges stigma and promotes equity.

When we use the term 'women' we use it in an inclusive manner and are mindful of the diverse and intersecting identities of the people who we support.

Every year we are able to deliver gift filled shoeboxes to the organizations that matter in our community. This year we are officially supporting NOW Canada Society, Karis Support Society, The Bridge Youth & Family Services & Jewels of Hope Okanagan.
Any over flow of boxes will be given out to other community partners. If you are an organization that could use some please reach out!

Your donations stay in the local community and give us the opportunity to purchase items in bulk to fill as many shoeboxes as we can! Every gift matters and we are so looking forward to this years campaign marking 5 YEARS STRONG IN KELOWNA ALL THANKS TO YOU. ❤️

We had the privilege of dropping off these gift filled shoeboxes to Now Canada yesterday and so grateful to be going on 5 years of the Kelowna Shoebox Chapter. We just love gifting and grateful for the community that helps us do it every year.

Yes, they all ended up fitting in my car. Win!!!
