Hello All

Just a reminder that we have some important meetings coming up in the next couple of months.

Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday October 7th at IHOP - Spall Plaza starting at 5:30pm. This will be our last regular meeting held at IHOP. We have a new meeting location starting on Wednesday November 4th, 2026. The new meeting location will now be held at Summerwood Retirement Residences (downstairs) located at 1360 KLO Rd. (just a couple doors down from the Regional Library/RDCO offices). Meeting times will still start at 5:30pm. There is plenty of parking at this location and signage will be up to direct you to the parking and entrance doors. We would like to thank the manager Mathew Zurbrigg for donating this space to our club. Coffee and cookies will be supplied at the meetings.

The very important meeting is coming up on Wednesday October 21st. This will be our Installation Meeting. We are happy to announce that we will be installing not just our new board for 2026/2027 but also adding 5 new Kiwanis members to our club. The meeting will be held at the Basil & Mint Restaurant located at the corner of Lakeshore & Cook Rd. Parking is in the underground parkade and if it gets full, you will have to park across the street at the public parking lot at boat launch on Cook Rd. The restaurant created this special menu for our meeting - you can also order off their regular menu as well. We look forward to seeing you there.

The Kiwanis Club of the Central Okanagan is holding its 4th Annual Paper Shredding Fundraiser. It’s being held on Saturday October 3rd from 10:00am to 2:00pm (or until the truck is full) located at Kelowna Toyota - Cary Rd. Suggested minimum donation is $10 per banker box size. We will also have Krispy Kreme donuts for sale at $20/box - first come, first sold (sorry, no presale).
