💙 Did you know? Pediatric health care in BC faces unique challenges and opportunities:

👩‍⚕️ BC has only ~175 general pediatricians — that’s just 2.2 for every 10,000 children.
🏥 BC Children’s Hospital is the province’s largest pediatric hub, supporting families with complex care, rare conditions, research, and training the next generation of health professionals.
📊 22% of Canadian children live with at least one chronic condition, with asthma being the most common.

But here’s the good news ➝ Evidence shows that joy really heals. ✨

🎶 Play therapy, music, and storytelling don’t just brighten hospital stays — they reduce pain, ease anxiety, and help kids feel safer and more in control.
At Heroes for Little Heroes, we believe every child deserves not only medical care, but also moments of magic, hope, and connection. 🌟

❄️💙 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Frozen Storytime event — it was truly a day filled with magic, music, and memories! From singing along to Elsa’s anthems to diving into snowy storybooks, we loved watching little ones light up with joy.

A special thank-you to the Okanagan Regional Library for helping us host this enchanting afternoon — your support and beautiful space brought our winter wonderland to life. 📚✨

We’re so grateful for this incredible community and can’t wait to create more moments that inspire imagination and bring people together. Until then… keep dreaming, keep singing, and let it gooo! ❄️👑
