Summer Lake Water Polo is back 🌊☀️

Starting Thursday July 2nd, Kelowna Water Polo Club heads back into Okanagan Lake for another summer of sunset games, warm water, floating fields, and beach vibes at Tugboat Beach.

We welcome swimmers and players ages 15 to 50+ — whether you are completely new to water polo or already experienced.

🏐 Mondays • 6–8pm
Skills, drills & scrimmage
Perfect for beginners and players wanting to train

🌅 Thursdays • 6–8pm
Game night
Warm up and fun summer games in the lake

What does a lake water polo evening look like?

Arrive a little early and help float out the nets. Train, swim, laugh, and play as the sun drops over Okanagan Lake. Around 8pm we roll the field back in, deflate the goals, hang out on the beach, and soak up the summer evening.

Sunset games. Warm lake water. Good people. Summer in Kelowna.

What a weekend!! 🤽 🌈 🤽‍♂️ Thank you Whiskeyjacks for organising such a great tournament and for including Kelowna Water Polo Club! Great achievement for our club to have made it to the gold medal game. We achieved a silver place finish in a fun match up with San Frasisco. Now looking forward to the Kelowna Classic Lake Water Polo Tournament on July 10-12.

Gold with Vancouver Masters for Mark and Alex at the John Csikos Alberta Open 2026 for these two Kelowna players in the 30+ masters.

Coach Mason will be playing in the 18U National Final with 18U against Shadow at 6:30 PM (Toronto time)
